Four players in England just one match from suspension

Gareth Southgate is apparently in a suspension dilemma. Harry Maguire, Declan Rice, Kalvin Phillips and Phil Foden are only a yellow card from being suspended in the European Championship semi-final - against Denmark or the Czech Republic - if England defeat Ukraine in Saturday's quarter-final in Rome.

The quarantine rules at the current European Championship finals stipulate that yellow cards from the group stage, the round of 16 and the quarter-finals will be reset in the semi-finals. Therefore, the English Quartet therefore continues to risk a suspension if they cross the line against Ukraine.

Declan Rice or Kalvin Phillips can be replaced by Jordan Henderson, who appears to be fit for fight, although he has not played an entire match since February. In addition, the Tyrone Mings have proven to be a more or less perfect replacement for Harry Maguire.

Phil Foden, who has not played since being replaced in the disappointing 0-0 match against Scotland, can be replaced by Jadon Sancho, who has only played six minutes at the ongoing European Championship finals, Marcus Rashford or Jack Grealish.

The other players can as well go on been booked but Harry Maguire. That's the area they most likely need going forward in the tournament as they have decent replacement in the other areas. The Manchester united defender brings a lot of experience and leadership to the team
