Conte wants Kessie at Tottenham

It is not many hours ago that Tottenham announced that their new coach is named Antonio Conte. Now SportItalia's journalist Rudy Galetti writes that Tottenham are close to the Ivorian midfield dynamo Frank Kessie, who is currently playing with Simon Kjær in AC Milan.

There should be a free transfer, and Kessie will, if the agreement comes ashore, only encounter the squad next summer when his contract with Milan has expired.

Kessie has on several occasions refused to extend his contract with AC Milan, as he and his agent George Atangana do not believe that Milan's bid is good enough for a player at Kessie's level.
