MEGA Grain Run, Rain, Braiins LN, The Emptying, Chiro, PDC, Rest, Kraken - Thursday

Yesterday morning I was on my way to town by 4:30am for a huge load of grain. I managed to avoid all but a little bit of traffic on my way down and the sky decided to hold off letting anything fall until later in the morning.

I had to swap my route and stopped at the Steam Plant first as I had to load the barrels into the bed of the truck.

That meant shifting the bed liner off the back of the trailer, pushing all the barrels onto the trailer then into the bed of the truck. The bed liner got put back and strapped down tight for the drive up the north hill.

I had 5 1/2 barrels of grain waiting for me at the next brewery and I got the barrels slid up onto the tail of the trailer, tipped over into the bed liner, then shoveled out into a massive pile.

It was REALLY close to not fitting but I managed to pile all the grain in the liner and on the trailer. It was a SUPER heavy load which meant I was going a lot slower on the way home and through town. I know I lost some grain on the way but seemingly rather minimal amount.

I stopped for gas on the way home and this time most of the pumps were in use where most mornings I am one of a couple.

I happened to make the grain run in the shadow of the storm and around dawn it began to move in and over the farm.

The day came that we got beta access to the Braiins Lightning payments. I went to my account and in moments had my entire mining balance transferred to my #Alby account. It was SUPER smooth and cost nothing in fees. I can now wait until my Alby balance is high enough and the fees are low enough to make moving to my Sparrow wallet economical.

I managed to get myself out to empty the grain about 8:45 and ended up just piling it all in the sheep pen. I have run out of garden space to cover with the grain so they get the mass of it now. They all piled around the pile and spent much of the day mawing away the goodness. My sheep are SOOOOOOO fat.

Not long after I got the grain emptied the rain moved in for the day and it kept a pretty constant drizzle all day long.

I headed into my chiro appointment which was super nice to have after the TONS of grain I shoveled/moved. It rained pretty good off and on and we would get some gaps in the rain occasionally.

The PDC darts was on and it was GREAT to see MVG lose in the first round. Both Lukes went out in the semi-final and it was Cross and Asp in the final with Asp taking the nightly win. They are a 3rd of the way through now and the points are getting more even amongst the players.

I picked the boys up from school then over the afternoon spent a good bit of time finding more IFS Therapy information then reading some of what I found. It seems Richard C. Schwartz is the main author of handbooks for it with Alanis Morissette doing an intro for one book. I have a few audio books, handbooks, and workbooks to utilize in my attempts at self-therapy.

Watched the Vegas hockey game against Boston which was good Boston won as Vegas is in the Kraken league so any points they DON'T get is good for the Kraken. Their game against Pittsburgh amazingly went well and they won 2-0. They are still in the hunt for a wild card spot this year so I'm hoping they can keep some momentum.

Got out to soak while period 2 was being played but the score was still 1-0 when I came in for the end.

I got to see their 2nd goal and then them win the game. So hit or miss lately with their performances but they are seemingly a bit more together now.

Today will be mellow weather wise, it's hive power up day which I am now 10 days ahead of schedule and HBD interest day which is on schedule so I get to rework my y/e goals spreadsheet after the powerup, boys to and from school, continued farm cleanup, IFS work, this afternoon is the monthly co-op pickup, I'll get a fire going in the pit in the evening and will grill for dinner.

In winter, when it rains like this, routine work becomes very difficult.
