Woke to snow then a mid day boxing day miracle at old trafford when Man Utd came back from 2 down to win it 3-2. I checked the greenhouse and the soil is not frozen so I finally built a soil warming setup out of heat tape and a 20ft stick of 1" steel pipe. I have it down and will check in the morning if the row cover and soil retain heat. If so this should make sprouting a cinch even in really cold temps.

Hopefully the new owners inject some REALLY needed energy into the club. There is still time to turn the season around, if they could just get Martinez and Casemiro back they would be good.
