Hi @coolguy123

I am an investor in Sports token and together with a few other like-minded investors in Sports token support bloggers who post content on SportsTalkSocial community provided they comply with a few terms and conditions.

Bloggers who agree to abide by these terms and conditions are grouped under a club that I have named ""50m Sports Power Club."

The Rules of the Club are as follows:

  1. Subscribe to SportsTalkSocial Community, if you haven't already, and post your sports content in the SportsTalkSocial community site.

  2. Post content that is plagiarism and copyright infringement free. (both text and images).

    a. All third party images (for which you must have a free or commercial licence) must carry an attribution citation just below the image following this Best Practices For Attribution.

    b. For images owned by you, follow the guidelines above modifying it accordingly to suit the circumstances. For example, you do not have to cite an external source since you are the source of the image UNLESS you are a professional photographer who has a portfolio website. Or you could simply state your image citation as: ©yourusername.

    c. You may use unlicensed copyrighted images (i.e copyrighted images for which you don't have a license) provided your article meets the criteria set under Fair Use doctrine. Almost all the images you will find in social media sites, news websites and blogs would fall under this category. If you do decide to use these unlicensed copyrighted images under the Fair Use doctrine, in your attribution citation replace the phrase, "is licensed under......." with "is used under the Fair Use doctrine" and in addition you should also insert a "Fair Use Notice" at the end of your article. The Fair Use Notice appended at the the end of this comment is the recommended format, which you may use freely. Do use this option unless you know what you are doing.

  3. Your articles should contain at least 350 words (in the language of your choice). If you post in a language other than English then you must provide an English translation. If you are posting a video of 5 minutes or more, then an explanatory note of about 50 words or more would do.

  4. You commit to power-up ALL your earning in SPORTS tokens regularly as you earn them until you have accumulated 50 million SPORTS Power.

  5. After reaching 50 million SPORTS Power you are required to power-up ONLY 50% of your subsequent earnings to continue getting my support. You are therefore free to use the other 50% as you like.

If you accept this offer, please subscribe to the SportsTalkSocial community, if you haven't already, and say, "YES" in response to this comment. This offer will expire in 7 days or upon reaching the 30 subscriber mark, whichever is earlier.

These terms and conditions may be amended or added to in due course to remove ambiguity or to provide for unforeseen situations.

Anyone else who is reading this comment who wish to become a member of this Club, may comment below asking to be considered for an invitation.

Thank you.

The scope of such allowed circumstances varies slightly from jurisdiction to jurisdiction. In general, in most cases, fair use would cover use for the purpose of commentary, criticism, reviews, news reporting and parody.

Hi,
Thanks for the offer, but, unfortunately, I don't meet one of the criterias you mentioned.

I am an occasional blogger and dont write blogs of 3500+ words, my blogs normally contain 600 to 800 words.

Thanks, have a good day and appreciate your interest in Sports.

Ha ha, Sorry. It is 350 words. I just corrected it. You may still join as an occasional blogger, there is no restriction for occasional bloggers.

Lol, then it's fine.

I have been using the images from wikimedia commons except for One image used it First place here as the image wasn't available for free use.

I have added proper source information and also used Fiar Use Notice thing as well.

If this is fine with you, then I am good to go with your offer :).

Thanks again.

Great. You are in. Upvoted.

Going forward you may need to fine-tune your attribution citation.

If you can follow the recommendations given by Creative Commons (see the Club Rules for it) for all your images you cannot go wrong here.

The Wikimedia images almost always require you to give attribution in a specific format. Even the image you used has that requirement. So providing a link to the "source" would not suffice to comply with their requirement.

To make it easier for you I will provide the instructions in a separate comment.

Thank you.

Hi @coolguy123

Wikimedia makes it easy for the users by giving them the code for the attribution. You just need to copy the code and use it in your blog post.

Here are the instructions:

screenshot-www.google.com-2023.06.24-10_45_01.png

On the above image page, click the link "Get this image on: Wikimedia Commons." You will then land on this next page:

screenshot-commons.wikimedia.org-2023.06.24-10_53_04.png

Download the file of the size you want.

After that click on the link "Use this file on the web." You will then see a pop-up appearing as seen below:

screenshot-commons.wikimedia.org-2023.06.24-10_59_39.png

Click the "HTML" square, and then copy the Attribution Code and use it in your blog post.

The final result will be like this:

Bigmatbasket, CC BY-SA 4.0, via Wikimedia Commons

This is the final code for the image:

https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/a/a9/Mbappe_Messi_Neymar.jpg/1024px-Mbappe_Messi_Neymar.jpg
<a href="https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Mbappe_Messi_Neymar.jpg">Bigmatbasket</a>, <a href="https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0">CC BY-SA 4.0</a>, via Wikimedia Commons

YES. I will keep buying and staking until I reach the 50 M $SPORTS Power but the posting and the curation will be done via my wife's account, @arlenec2021.

I wonder who will be the one curating using your wife's Hive account. 🤔😅

So the question would be who among you and your wife would curate more using her Hive account. 🤔 Don't forget to remind her not to vote too often (or too little)! 😆😅

Hi @rzc24-nftbbg,

It is not possible to split the rights and obligations of the club members between two people, be it between wife/husband, parent/child etc etc.

Yourself and/or your wife has to join the club separately and be bound by the rules in your individual capacities.

Buying and staking is not a requirement for club members although such acts are appreciated because it shows your commitment to the community. What is required is consistent staking of your earnings from author rewards and/or curation rewards.

Even if you are not posting articles regularly, you may still become a member and benefit from votes you receive for your occasional articles. Besides I do vote comments of members from time to time but preference is always given to articles.

So, please let me know how you would like to proceed.
