Aunque los jugadores de posición no deben reportarse aún antes del primero de Marzo, muchos de ellos que no jugaron pelota invernal o que cambiaron de equipo en el receso, hacen presencia desde el vamos con la apertura de los campos de entrenamiento. Y en el caso de los Cascabeles de Arizona, la camada criolla se ha reportado completa. Los receptores Gabriel Montero y José Herrera ya formaban parte de la nómina de los chicos del desierto y por la posición en el terreno debieron reportarse el primer día.
Lo mismo sucedió con Eduardo Rodríguez, lanzador derecho venezolano, adquirido en el invierno vía agencia libre desde los Tigres de Detroit. Es una adición increíblemente agresiva en un cuerpo de abridores conformado por los talentosos: Zac Gallen, Merrill Kelly, Brandon Pfaadt y Ryne Nelson, quienes fueron responsables de llevar a los D-Backs a jugar la serie mundial, pero no pudieron enfrentar las presiones de esa instancia cuando cayeron ante los Rangers de Texas.

Que gran profesionalismo demuestran estos jugadores que teniendo la prerrogativa de poder presentarse un par de semanas más tarde lo hacen en este momento. Es muy destacable.
Sí lo es, pero la mayoría no juega pelota invernal...por eso se presentan antes...para poder poner el cuerpo a tono..!
