Cerramos las predicciones de la temporada 2025 de las Majors Leagues of Baseball (MLB), con el análisis de la división oeste de la liga Nacional. Lo primero que diré es: será una loca carrera por el título de la división ¿La razón? Bueno, aunque muchos dan a los Dodgers como campeones y no les falta razón para pensar así, dada además la completa rotación de abridores (N° 1 en el ranking de cuerpos monticulares) y su imponente cuerpo de relevistas, dejarlos por fuera de al menos los comodines sería un acto de suicidio epistolar virtual (nuevo término acuñado por éste redactor, para referirse a cualquier artículo de análisis deportivo en el feed de la comunidad) ¿Quienes lucharán junto a los Dodgers por el título de la división? Difícil pregunta.

Los Gigantes de San francisco y los Padres de San Diego, no se quedarán cruzados de brazos y mucho menos, sentados en sus bancas esperando que les caiga la clasificación. Ambos equipos se ocuparon en el invierno de conseguir piezas claves para tapar sus huecos. En especial, los muchachos de la bahía de San Francisco jugaron duro y creo firmemente que se llevarán uno de los comodines. En el caso de los Padres de San Diego sucedió igual pero con mayor efectividad, al lograr reunir a la 10ma. rotación más completa encabezada por Dylan Cease. Jamás podría dejar fuera de los posibles clasificados a los religiosos, so pena de perder el respeto de mis compañeros de feed.

The San Francisco Giants and San Diego Padres will not sit idly by, much less sit on their benches waiting for the standings to fall into their laps. Both teams were busy over the winter getting key pieces to fill their holes. Y ¿entonces? ¿Cuatro equipos para tres cupos? No, jamás esa cuenta cabrá en las matemáticas de la MLB. Dodgers, Diamondbacks, Padres y Gigantes, nos entregarán la mejor temporada de baseball que se ha jugado en la división oeste en muchos años. Para éste redactor, el equipo que podría quedar fuera son los Gigantes, muy a nuestro pesar ¿Por qué? Vaya que los tipos se movieron duro en invierno, pero las interrogantes con el roster de San Francisco son tantas, que tendría todo por encajar para llegar a octubre. Por lo que mi pronóstico de tres clasificados (fueron dos en 2024), son Los Ángeles, Arizona y San Diego en ese mismo orden. San Francisco irá de cuarto muy por encima de Colorado. ¿Que piensa usted amado lector, respecto a ésta división?

Es una división bastante peleada y me parece que los pronósticos de los especialistas coinciden con esta predicción que usted hace y que coincido con usted.
Considero que Dogers y Arizona se disputarán el liderazgo, pero los actuales campeones de la Serie Mundial deben dominarla, cómo en la campaña anterior.
