Today, I walked the dogs, served breakfast to guests, did my five minutes writing exercise, finished felting this dragon.
Walked dogs more.
Made a dog (picture tomorrow)
Today, I wrote for 5 mins using a generated prompt from The Most Dangerous Writing App
prompt: “He hadn't seen anything like it in twenty years of teaching.”
The class was quiet, not a sound from any of the thirty pupils. They stood still beside their desks, facing the front, eyes half open.
Marcus stood at the door, his eyes wide, mouth slightly open. He coughed again trying to get a reaction.
"Class!" he shouted, his voice was too high, the nervousness coming through.
Normally, this class was a rabble. The class that no one wanted to teach.
But this wasn't the class trying to be well-behaved, nor - he feared - were they playing a trick on him.
This was something else.
When the object in the sky passed overhead - whatever the hell that thing was - the class just stopped what they were doing and all noise ceased. then they all stood up as one.
That was five minutes ago.
Marcus opened the door of the class. In the corridor a similar scene awaited him.
