Home School Vacation - A 5 A-side Football Game Challenge

Greetings to my esteemed #Homeedders and the entire hive blockchain. It's an amazing time to join the ongoing home school vacation challenge organized by @homeedders to revive the creativity initiatives in our homeschooling environment during this vacation period. I'm super excited to join this challenge, although it's the last day of the challenge but I believe that my post will add more spice to the other posts published for this challenge. All what I need from you at this moment is a little patience and just read to the end. I'll like to invite my friends @queenabas, @vickvan and @chizobe to join the challenge.

My post today will focus on a 5 A-side Football Game Challenge which I
usually organizedd for kids within my neighborhood, although I haven't presenting it on the blockchain yet, but today your previleged to have it. The game is between the age range of 5 to 9 years and it's open to both male and female football ⚽⚽⚽ lovers.

For those of you who are football lovers, I used the Premier league game between Chelsea Vs Tottenham as the fixture for the game I'm presenting to you in this post.

The Preparation Process
The first thing I'll present in this section is the items we made used of to prepare the football game, they are as follows:

• cardboard paper (white, orange and green).
• ruler
• water gum
• scissors
• maker pen
• plastic crown cork
• mic batteries

We used a full cardboard paper as a measurement for a standard football pitch. Although there are some errors in the measurement, which if not closely looked, you'll not notice anything.

It was so embarrassing that it took a lot of trials to make a paper goal post, but I was rescued by one of the participants of the competition. This just indicates that once you leave a particular thing for a long time, it'll automatically leave you. Thanks to him.

The Players
We made use of plastic crown cork to represent the players who partook in the 5 A-side game. Since the match it's between Chelsea Vs Tottenham, we choose 7 players from each team, while 5 + the goalkeeper played the match, we had 2 substitutes for the match. The names of the players is reflected on the match day lineups below:

Six kids always participate in the game and two out of them will win the trophy.

The game is to last just for a day with each teams playing for 20 minutes, which means 10 minutes is allocated for each halve.

The Lessons from the Game

• the game helps the kids to enhance their moto skills.
• they had fun time playing the game. Most of them, this was their first time in the challenge.
• it increased their patience level. Everyone in the game had to wait for each other to play before playing their turn.
• it encouraged unity within the neighborhood and also created time for them to engage, since majority of them are usually indoors.
• it improves the hand-eye coordination in the kids, since playing the game requires focusing on the player and post.
• it help them gain new experiences.

I'll leave the judges to give the final verdict of the challenge. I rest my case.
