New habits and activities update: September 25 2023

Hey guys, it’s been a while since my last report. With all the recent issues I have been more tired than usual and my focus isn’t really on writing much.

That obviously shows in my stats. I updated my spreadsheet to reflect this months entries and there are about half of the amount of the previous month. Not great - but what can one do? Health must come first.

It’s not even that I wasn’t active since last report. I went out dancing on Friday and did some good amount of steps at the weekend, just didn’t feel like posting 🤷🏻‍♀️

Well, never mind, I’m here today to report for my activities for yesterday.

I have been applying the advice of my holistic doctor so far. Eating a small breakfast every day. No coffee. Buckwheat before sleep. I might have slipped a bit with eating some things that might not be so good for my gut, but it’s a big change in diet to do it all at once.

I forgive myself for the slip ups and I congratulate myself on the good parts. One thing that my holistic doctor mentioned was that I’m too harsh on myself and I while I forgive other people freely and easily, I must do the same with myself, as build up of guilt is what’s badly affecting me too (maybe more than my bad eating habits).

Back to work yesterday, so the usual 2 walks at breaks and a trip to the shop got my steps count to around 9k. I’m feeling a bit better, physically, but anxiety was a bit high yesterday, so I thought it was a good time to go for a little jog in the forest.

Indeed, the run, as well as sorting out my insurance and chatting to my bestie all made me feel a bit better and there was no anxiety in sight towards the evening.

9K steps is awesome! Way to go! It's tough to keep going when you're tired, that is I feeling I know all too well. Good job!

Thank you 🙏 Fatigue has been a big issue indeed these days, but I have to push myself to do this, cause that in turn gives me more energy. Still there are days when I don’t leave the house and only move from bed to sofa and back, but hey, I need to celebrate little victories ☺️💙
