Walk around Tina’s garden: May 16 2023
Yesterday were mainly walks around my work neighbourhood, which I guess gets repetitive, so I thought I’ll make this report a little different today and show you a few captures from my visit at Tina’s.
It’s no ordinary walk. Just a stroll around her garden, which is getting slowly under control again after winter. Some pots of plant that she received from friends/clients are ready to be planted out.
Last time I was here, the grass was calves size (not knee size like mine’s 😂) and edges full of weeds. This week however the grass is already cut and one side of the garden beds nicely weeded.
Ok, she had some helpers! Both, her neighbour and a friend that comes to visit her often helped her out with weeding and planting. That left side that looks like things are meant to be planted there are actually weeds that still need sorting, but overall it looks pretty amazing in just one week since I was here last time.
In general though, I am very impressed with all she did to this garden since she moved in here maybe 5 years ago.
It’s the attention to detail in every corner of her garden that really impresses me. Very nice, zen feel to it, thanks to a few well place trinkets.
Acer trees very nicely complement that look. She has them in green and red and I simply love everyone of those. Some grow in the ground, while others in the pots.
A few shy flowers also decided to show their pretty faces. Last years Dianthus that somehow managed to survive the harsh winter we had this year.
Even watering can nicely complements the garden. Very pretty in pink.
I also managed to find a flower of another kind. Also very pretty 🤩
