At the end , Pakistan's first innings was ended at 201 runs with small contributions from Iftekhar Ahmed, Sadab Khan and Naseem Shah. Many thought that Afghanistan would easily overcome this small target given by Pakistan. But proving everyone wrong, Pakistan bowled out Afghanistan for just 59 runs.

As a result, Pakistan won by 143 runs in the first match between Afghanistan and Pakistan. All the credit goes to Pakistan's bowlers for this huge victory. Haris Rauf's performance with the bowl in particular was extraordinary. The fast bowler picked up five wickets for 18 runs in six overs. Besides, the bowling of Shaheen Shah Afridi, Naseem Shah and Sadab Khan was commendable.

After a great batting performance in the first innings, the performance with the bowl was not to the liking of the Afghans. So they had to lose by one wicket. Despite being so close to victory against Pakistan, the Afghanistan team failed again and again. In the last three overs where Pakistan needed 40 runs with only two wickets in hand. But the Afghanistan bowlers could not stop Shadab Khan and Naseem Shah from scoring runs. In the end, the team had to lose the series with a heartbreaking loss.
