The Netherlands team has made the impossible possible. Yesterday, the team beat the West Indies in a super over in a very exciting match. They managed to score a record amount of runs before the super over. The mountain of 374 runs given by the West Indies was impossible for them to achieve. But the impossible performance of every player with the bat helped the Netherlands to win over West Indies.
West Indies and Netherlands faced each other in the ICC ODI World Cup qualifiers. West Indies failed to qualify directly for this year's World Cup. So they have to participate in the qualifying round of the World Cup along with the other eight teams including Zimbabwe. However, the performance of the team in the qualifying round of the World Cup is not at all satisfactory. After Zimbabwe, the team lost against the Netherlands!
The match between West Indies and Netherlands was held at Takashinga Sports Club in Harare, Zimbabwe. The Netherlands won the toss and decided to bowl at the beginning of the match. Both the teams fielded their strong elevens in that match.

Two openers Brendom King and Johnson Charles came to bat for the West Indies in the Netherlands. These two openers gave the team a good start. They made 100 runs in partnership. Johnson Charles departed with a personal score of 54. Then the Caribbean got a huge collection of 374 runs thanks to good contributions from the middle order. Cameo's innings of 104 runs from Nicholas Pooran help the team to achieve this huge total.
Despite doing well in batting, the Caribbean's performance with the ball was poor. Because even after scoring 350+ runs, they were not able to win the match by defending that run. The Netherlands started well in batting. The team collected 76 runs in the first wicket pair. However, after losing wickets one after another, victory was almost impossible for the Netherlands. But the team drew the match due to the extraordinary batting performance of the low middle-order batsmen.
This draw resulted in a super over to make the match. The Netherlands played marvelous in the Super Over. Netherlands batsman Logan van Beek hits boundary and over-boundary of Holder's six balls in the Super Over.
West Indies failed to chase the target given by the Netherlands in the Super Over. As a result, West Indies had to leave the field with a loss. On the other hand, the Netherlands got a record win.
