The incredible performance of Mumbai Indians in IPL is going on. Mumbai Indians; who started the season by losing their first three matches, are just one match away from the IPL final. They beat Lucknow Super Giants by a huge margin in the play-off match last night. Mumbai won this match by 81 runs. As a result, the Mumbai team will play against the Gujarat Titans in the unannounced semi!

The match between Mumbai Indians and Lucknow Super Giants wasn't as crowded as it was supposed to be. The luck of the toss was also in favor of Mumbai like the match. Mumbai Indians won the toss and elected to bat. Captain Rohit Sharma's first batting decision was correct which shown after the result of the match!

Captain Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan came into batting for Mumbai. Those two openers started well for the team. Both of them collected 30 runs in the first three overs. However, when Rohit and Ishan Kishan got out in two consecutive overs and returned to the pavilion, the team came under some pressure. Before that pressure increased, two inform batsmen Cameron Green and Suryakumar Yadav took the team to a good score.

Shortly after the team completed 100 runs, two well-settled batsmen Suryakumar Yadav and Cameron Green were dismissed by Nabeen-ul-Haq in the same over. Even though they departed, Tilak Burma, Tim David and Nehal Wadhera made a small contribution to Mumbai Indians after losing eight wickets at the end of the allotted 20 overs, collecting 182 runs. Nabeen-ul-Haq picked up four wickets and Yash Thakur three wickets each for Lucknow Super Giants.

In response, Lucknow Super Giants came under pressure from the beginning to bat. The team lost the two openers by just 23 runs. Then Stoinas tried to lead the team but no one was able to support him. When Stoinas departed for the team's 89 runs, Lucknow Super Giants were all out for only 101 runs. As a result, Sachin Tendulkar's Mumbai Indians won by 81 runs!

Akash Madhwal bowled a record for Mumbai on this day. This bowler wrote his name in the record pages by hunting five precious wickets in exchange of only five runs in three overs and three balls. The team management along with the fans of Mumbai are impressed with the performance of this player who was hired for only 20 lakhs.

In the next match, they will take on Gujarat Titans in an unannounced semi. Can Mumbai win that match? Don't forget to give your valuable feedback!
