Bangladesh beat Afghanistan by making record !!

Bangladesh Cricket : The Tigers)
The only test match between Afghanistan and Bangladesh teams ended with a record. Bangladesh cricket team won the match by a record margin of 546 runs in Mirpur, Bangladesh's home ground. This is the biggest win in Bangladesh's Test history regarding runs. Also, it is the biggest win in terms of runs in the 21st century. This is the 3rd highest win since the start of Tests. The previous two were in 1928 and 1934. Such a win is a matter of pride for the Bangladesh team.
Despite a record win in this match, Bangladesh's record in Tests isn't at all up to expectations. Bangladesh's performance in the remaining two formats except the ODI format is disappointing. There is no consistent player in Test and there is no good player for power-hitting and aggressive bowling in the T20 Bangladesh team!
Before this match, Bangladesh's Test success against Afghanistan was very poor. Afghanistan has easily defeated Bangladesh in the previous matches. So this match was a challenge for the Bangladesh team. Afghanistan's main strength is its spin bowling. However, their main spinners were not present in this match. Rashid Khan, Mujib, and Noor were all out of the squad. So the way to win was very easy for Bangladesh. Also, Bangladesh made the field this time as a pace bowling aid.
Afghanistan captain Hasmatullah Shahidi won the toss and decided to bowl at the beginning of this match. They planned to bowl out Bangladesh for a few runs and take a big lead. But they failed to implement their plan. Bangladesh lose wickets at the beginning of the first innings, but the team turned around in the second wicket. After the fall of the first wicket, Nazmul Hasan Shanto and Mahmudul Hasan Joy made a pair of 200+ runs.
With a great performance with the bat, Shanto scored his 3rd Test century (148) and at the other end scored a half-century (76). After the departure of Nazmul and Joy, the team collected 350 runs at the end of the first day with the contribution of Mushfiq and Miraz. They couldn't do well with the bat on the 2nd day. Lost the next 5 wickets for just 20 runs and was all out for 382 runs!

In response to Bangladesh's first innings, Afghanistan were bowled out for just 146 runs. As a result, the team followed on from 236 runs behind. However, Bangladesh decided to bat without inviting Afghanistan to bat again. Mahmudul Hasan lost the winning wicket at the beginning of the 2nd innings, but Shanto and Zakir's 170+ run partnership kept the team moving toward the big target. Zakir couldn't complete the century but Nazmul Hasan Shanto completed the 2nd century in the same Test. Shanto is the second Bangladeshi player to set this record after Muminol Haque.
Muminul and Captain Liton Das lead them after the departure of Shanto and Zakir Hasan. Muminul completes their personal hundred after two long years. Liton Das also picked up a half-century. Then Bangladesh declared the innings by setting a huge target of 650+ runs.
Afghanistan was all out for just 115 runs while chasing a worthy target. As a result, the Bangladesh team got a record win of 546 runs.
