An unsuccessful and frustrated T-20 World Cup mission for team Bangladesh .

Bangladesh are one of the full cricket playing nations in the world. They are one of the contenders of this T-20 world cup 2021. Before this tournament, Bangladesh played series against Zimbabwe, Australia and New Zealand for preparing themselves for the T-20 world cup. They were 90% successful in these seigets. For the first time they won over two big nations of cricket Australia and New Zealand in a international T-20 mtach and also in Bilateral series. Bangladesh participated in this world cup with high confidence and they are hoping to play in semi-final.

But the actual scenario is totally different. Bangladesh played their first match against Scotland and they lost against them. It was a very upset match for team Bangladesh. They made their road difficult for the main part of this T-20 World Cup. After this, they hardly won against Oman and Papua- New-Ginia and qualified for the main part of the tournament anyway.

In the main part of this T-20 world cup Bangladesh faced Srilanka, Australia, South-Africa, West Indies and also against England. They can't won a single match and already out of this world cup. That is very disappointing for their supporters. In some matches they played well but can't won due to their bad fielding and bad finishing. All players are inconsistent, batters can't bat well and also bowlers wasn't good.

In two matches against Australia and South-Africa they get all-out below 100 runs. In match against Srilanka, they batted well and manage to scored 171 runs but in the fielding they misses two easy catches at the crucial moment of the match and gets beaten. Also against west-Indies they balled well but at the batting they can't scored only 31 runs from the last four over and they again beaten by 3 runs.

In all three departments, Bangladesh wasn't good. They missed many catches, gets out easily. Openers can't start wel and also finishers can't finished well. Supporters hoping more from them but they upset all their supporters. Now, officialy they are out of this T-20 world cup 2021.

After eliminating from this world cup Bangladesh captain Mahmudullah said, “ We didn't perform well in this tournament. I am still searching for answers, trying to find out what is missing, what we need to do. We sat together to work out where we are lacking and why we can't perform better. Except the Sri Lanka and West Indies games, we performed poorly throughout the tournament. ”
