It is weird to define dictionary from a dictionary, that's quite funny and ironic. But I was still able to get a definition, you can find that below:

Dictionary is a reference resource, in printed or electronic form, that consists of an alphabetical list of words with their meanings and parts of speech, and often a guide to accepted pronunciation and syllabification, irregular inflections of words, derived words of different parts of speech, and etymologies. A lot of folks say there are words you cannot find in the dictionary, this may be true but i have not really found that to be true.
