A hero is a person who is admired for having done something very brave or having achieved something great. Link
The real definition of a hero is something that is personal because we see our heroes differently. My hero might not be your hero because the criteria I used in analysing my hero is definitely different from yours.
Before now, majority of our folks made their hero their parents because they were good role models. But these days, people have lost fate in their parents and made celebrities and others their hero.
But truth be said, as much as we have heroes and we long for good role models. We must be good role models ourselves.
People lose the opportunity to be a hero when they have messed up or disappointed their people.
So, we have to live up to expectations...
