THE NIGERIA PROFESSIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE(NPFL): The beginning of a new season.

The 2021/2022 season of The Nigeria professional football league(NPFL) began on the 18th of December 2021. On the first leg of the match, the defending champions, Akwa United of uyo Akwa Ibom state had a good start as they trash the visiting team kano pillars 3 goals to none at home.
Currently, Akwa United is toping the league table with 3 points followed by kwarra United, Rema stars, and Enugu Rangers are on the top of the table sharing 3 points each.
