My apologies, you have an amazing project going on, why don't you run for witness?

We must support exhaust and clicking a link and pressing approve is not going to make you lose anything, you will instead start a war against the tyrants of hive, we must change hive, hive sux, people who do nothing generates/mines tons of hive per hour currently hundreds and thousands of dollars per hour yet they do not vote us back,
EXHAUST VOTES US BACK WE MUST SUPPORT EXHAUST, I CAN UNDERSTAND WHEN YOU CAN'T DELEGATE TO EXHAUST BECAUSE WHEN YOU DELEGATE YOUR ONLY 5-10 HIVE POWER YOU CAN'T POST, COMMENT, VOTE, SO YOUR ACCOUNT BECOMES UNUSABLE BUT IF YOU VOTE FOR WITNESS YOU DO NOT LOSE ANYTHING.

Not sure what this is about -- but I should make it clear that I'm currently not running a witness node.
I think there are a variety of thoughtful people out there operating as witnesses that are looking out for the concerns of users.
I'm significantly busy at my day job and do not have adequate time to dedicate towards building/maintaining the infrastructure for a witness node, and have even less time available with respect to long term planning of what the ecosystem should or could be.
Though, I thank you for what I hope is a nice sentiment. That said, I'm confused about the downvote. I'm not bothered by it -- you do you. But I'm confused.

My point is to create awareness to vote exhaust as a witness, these things may happen real quick and/or may never happen at all, i think if you broadcast as a witness once we become eligible to vote for exhaust, and if you leave a link below the delegation place of your post we could at least vote for exhaust and if exhaust had enough votes to produce blocks then you could run a witness server which would immediately cover the server fees because it would have enough votes to generate blocks. Idk there are alot of witnesses that do nothing at all except sending their generated hives to their bank account to use them for theirselves, but what exhaust is serving to the community, so it deserves to replace the current corrupt witnesses who bullshit around and do nothing except milking the hives out.
I tried to be a witness but it did not work out because of the corrupt witnessing system, i tried to ask for votes for myself and it did not happen but i could at least ask for exhaust, which has no connection what so ever with me, so it is legit and it deserves better
No rush but just saying, if you happen to have time and a linux server worth 5 usd it takes 30 mins for someone who has no coding background to sign as a witness, and then you can erase the server, format it but exhaust account stays as a witness and people could vote for it, and if you happen to receive enough votes to be at the top 20-30 witnesses then you could run a witness server and it would not only cover the server fees but it would also increase exahust's voting power so it could vote for more and more people
Thanks for the thoughts and recommendation. I've thought about it a bit before, and maybe I'll consider it again. I've got some spare hardware kicking around the house that needs a use.
If I do decide to pursue it, I'll make sure that it's fairly obvious. However, I wouldn't hold my breath.
Also -- I don't think the witnesses are that bad. It's hard to align everyones interests at the same time. A lot of them are genuine people that believe in the success of the ecosystem and aren't just trying to line their pockets (I hope).
