Effective Reflection
I reserve journaling for moments when I am overwhelmed at which point I dump all thoughts on paper.
However, I also work on reflecting on my mistakes and progress checks towards goals. I do so in a different way. If you're curious about that please read on.
My method of reflection is through thought and conversation with an accountability partner.
I have someone who I share my goals with and they understand my habits in depth. They call me out and it helps.
Additonally I have written my goals and calendared them on a timeline for the next two years. This timeline is built via review and feedback from my accountability partner to ensure someone is keeping me in check in terms of realistic goal setting.
From the timeline my partner knows to call me out and remind me going "Hey you want to do full time work remember? Staying up late and gaming does not fit into that reality"
