She certainly is the reason we are all watching, that's for sure. Yet I also have started watching other exciting players like Aja Wilson and Kelsey Mitchell based on their own merit. Guess you might call it the Caitlin Clark effect

the Caitlin Clark effect is real that's for sure. A year ago I wouldn't have been able to name a single WNBA player other than Brittney Griner and that wasn't because of basketball. Now I know a lot of names from many teams. I hope that people will still tune in but honestly, I expect at least a 50% drop in ratings.
