Hello sport lovers in The House, it's yet another intriguing FABULOUS and fantastic night live at Athletico Madried's home Wanda metropolitano.
Recall last week the both team played their heart out in other to secure a spot firmly at the champions table which Man city Kelvin slipt one point in for city a nice placement by Foden, altho the Spain said could not equalize but were confident of a returning leg in the home which was the show down today at Wanda Metropolitano.
At start of game I was skeptical a bit, but I trusted the City with their tiky-taka pattern to play out, first half was really confident for the visiting side, trying to maintain the game on a level ground with city pushing,...to me it was a fair play,
But the second half play was the most intriguing part for me, I almost freaked out, did Man city changed formation? What happened, I have never watched Man city play so weak and it was like a different team on the play,
The Atletico's came back reaffirmed on their will to beat city in it's home soil and secure the spot on the league with several attempts clear shot on target fired at Ederson, who was our live saver for tonight. THANK Eddy for that one, you deserve a cold Class,....just kidding😉✌😁.....
Filipe's Controversial tackle
What a controversial game it was as Simeone's boys keep charging in furious at city's half at the second half, I was wondering what simeone must have told them,
Filipe's aggressive tackle on Foden and kicking him after wards earned him the second yellow which resulted to a red and been sent off field of play, despite protest from team mate, zavic immediately rushed to foden sparked a brawl between both teams, Zavic got a yellow and Filipe got a red, later on Diego Simeone got his own share of the came too, by violating the rule of the law game,.....
Recall that during last year's encounter between Athletico Madrid and Liverpool Filipe also committed the same foul rough tackle on mane that got him send out of play.
Athletico Madrid Fans showed off rudeness
The fans were very rude today at Wanda, at every possession city made was welcomed with a Jared, freaky sounds from the crowd demeaning the players, which was very uncalled for, at some point the City players mistake was taken to mean a thing of joy for them.
