Real Madrid shock defeat to Sheriff Tiraspol

The champions league they say is a game of champions whereas the so call underdogs are not to be underrated in the game of football.

Last night saw Spanish giant Real Madrid been defeated by moldovan side Sheriff Tiraspol in the Bernabeu with the home team losing by 1-2.

Real Madrid been the better side and the favourite to win the game were not intimidated by the Spanish side as sheriff won their first ever victory against the Spanish side and also winning away from home.

Sheriff Tiraspol however, been the underdogs came into the game with full strength to prove something but that didn’t hold them back from stunning Real Madrid some minutes later from Jasur Jakhshibaev’s brilliant counter-attacking header to put the underdogs one up in the first half.

Real Madrid came into the second half with full Force and treat to equalize against their opponent but that later happened when they were awarded a penalty with Karim Benzema converting it to make it 1-1.

Real Madrid keep on pushing for a win against their opponent with so many chances but failed to convert any with their opponent been equal to the task to stop them from scoring.

Sheriff Tiraspol scored a heartbreak winner in the 90th minutes when Sebastian thill scored a heavy shot volley to put the visitors ahead and also securing the win to put them on top of the table with six points.
