Halloween weekend as Leicester host Arsenal to test in the premier league
The premier league is set to take place as Leicester city is set to take on Arsenal in a hard cracker and a test to the recent form of the gunners in the Halloween weekend as the foxes host their visitors in the early kick-off of the Premier League.
However, the host is set to be in a better shape after an indifferent period so far, as the ‘Foxes’ is likely to climb into the top five of the premier league table with a win against Arsenal as they look to record three straight premier league wins for the first time since the start of the calendar year.
With Leicester city two recent premier league wins, their first since August will have definitely boosted their spirits, but defensively they really need to tighten up as they’ve failed to keep a clean sheet in the premier league since the opening round of this campaign.
It will really be a tough game to handle as the "Gunners" are getting their heads upright with Arsenal maintaining a seven game unbeaten in a row in all competitions, though the host will face an opponent they’ve recently done well against in recent games against each other, with the host winning four of the last seven following a 22-game premier league winless run.
However, Arsenal have won in their last two meetings here and can record three straight away head-to-head wins for the first time since 1925!
The recent form of the ‘Gunners’ have been firing on all cylinders of late with a six-game unbeaten premier league run with four wins and two draws (W4, D2) will definitely not be an easy fixture as Leicester welcome them to the King power stadium.
Despite the "Gunners" form the host will be looking to utilize an advantage to hope on to end the recent form of their visitors as Arsenal have failed to win the Premier league game preceding Halloween in the last three calendar years with two draws and a lost (D2, L1).
Arsenal’s most recent premier league defeat before Halloween was a 1-0 loss just last year to Leicester city, though with their recent form optimistic fans would point to their reasonably solid premier league away form in 2021 with eight wins, three draws and four lost (W8, D3, L4) to give Arsenal hope of securing points in this game.
Both Leicester city and Arsenal are currently having the same points in the premier league with 14th points each in the log as both teams are placed 9th and 10th in the premier league table.
Players to watch
Jamie Vardy
Leicester’s Jamie Vardy with 11 goals has scored more times against Arsenal in the premier league head-to-head than he has against any other side in the premier league and would really be a treat to the gunners.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang
The gabonese international has made five goal contributions in his last six appearances with four goals and one assist and have also scored four goals across his seven prior meetings with Leicester city and would be ready to continue with that trend as his always said to look dangerous in scoring.
