Brace for Osimhen

It was a fight to finish in the king power stadium when Leicester host their Italian opponent Napoli. The game which saw both side ending it in a 2-2 draw denied each other a winner.

Victor Osimhen brace inspired a stunning comeback for Napoli as they rescued a late point in a 2-2 draw at the king power stadium despite the host scoring twice first.

The 'Foxes' had opened up a two goal lead, but could not maintain on as the UEFA Europa League group stages got under-way and their opponent not given up to secure a point.

The nigerian striker was first denied by Kasper Schmeichel in the opening minutes of the game as both teams started on the run in search of the first goal in the Match.

Napoli goalkeeper David Ospina then made a point-blank save from Harvey Barnes at the other end but the Leicester player then provide a beautiful cross to the back post where Ayoze Pérez then utilize in the opening 10th minute of the game.

The Italian team dominated the first half all through, but wasted numerous chances as they searched for a quick response to secure a goal.

However, the home team maintained their lead in the first half by a goal to nil and almost doubled their lead when Patson Daka’s scored a second but the goal was later ruled out by VAR for offside.

Not quite long after the cancellation of the goal the Foxes got their second goal, as Kelechi Iheanacho’s perfect pass found Barnes, who fired pass David Ospina into the far corner.

The away side never relent and keep on putting the pressure as Osimhen finally found the back of the net against Kasper Schmeichel.

Despite having the consolation goal, Napoli were desperate for a second goal and they finally achieve that in the 87th minute, when Osimhen got his brace of the night, heading home Matteo Politano’s cross to earn a point for the away side.

Nigerian defensive midfielder Wilfred Ndidi was shown a red card in injury time after been shown a yellow card twice.

Oshimen played quite well in that game,I mean leicester were leading 2-0 till about 60 mins or so,and he changed the game totally by scoring 2 goals,I think Nigeria now has a great striker it's nice to see him play well on the pitch.Nice post
