Happy Caturday!!😽😻

I hope everyone enjoyed their Saturday. Earlier this morning, I had a Zoom meeting with FFL. Then after starting laundry, I went to the driveway gate to put up the fall scarecrow decorations I’d bought earlier in the week. I really wanted cornstalks, but here in the PNW, they never fully if at all, turn brown. Then as the rains begin, they mold and turn black and icky. Hence, the scarecrows. If I happen to find any brown cornstalks, I’ll add them to the scarecrows, but for now, this is how it will be.

I asked @silvertop when he had a moment, to tote the 2 biggest pumpkins I have down to the gate. They weigh around 25 pounds or so each!

Later in the afternoon, we headed up the road for our ‘road party’. Keith and Lynne are hosting it this year at their place, which is the property we always hike. Anyone who has ever lived on our road is invited even if they no longer live on the road. This is an annual event and is a lot of fun, especially seeing folks who have moved away. Salmon is the main dish being supplied. All else will be a potluck.

Keith and Lynne hosted today’s gathering at their home. They are both excellent musicians. Enjoy the video.

We had a great time; the food was delicious and the company splendid!

Now, getting back to Caturday! Cyle loves to sleep! Just take a look at how deep into it he is.

He also feels the need to ‘anchor’ himself while doing so, lol! 😹😽

Tomorrow is church which I always look forward to. That’s gonna be it for me today. Take care and have a blessed Sunday!
