Danger-Don’t Get Too Close!……..My Actifit Report Card: April 16 2025

Doesn’t that first photo just scream DANGER?! It’s one of many varieties of plants that have thorns that live in our forests around here. Nature’s barbed wire-as I like to call it. Fall into a patch of it and it’s going to hurt like crazy trying to extract yourself from it! 🙀

Fortunately, I’ve been able to mostly avoid things like this. I say mostly because there is a vine like version we all manage to trip on and when it hits your ankles-well you know it!

It was a super, super busy day for me at the clinic! I had 7 tribal members which usually results in multiple pairs and/or contacts as well as coordination of benefits with other commercial insurance. There are other records and files that have to be sent to their medical offices as well, so it’s quite a busy time for me. I do enjoy helping my patients and we always have fun!

My back is still misbehaving somewhat. I remind myself of my grandmother when she was in her eighties. She would list to the right when walking down our hallway and was bent forwards a little. That’s me to a T right now, lol! 🙄 I keep hoping I’ll get up out of the chair and be straight and no longer listing, but so far it isn’t happening. Maybe tomorrow….🙏

So they watched Him, and sent spies who pretended to be righteous, that they might seize on His words, in order to deliver Him to the power and the authority of the governor.
Then they asked Him, saying, “Teacher, we know that You say and teach rightly, and You do not show personal favoritism, but teach the way of God in truth: Is it lawful for us to pay taxes to Caesar or not?”
But He perceived their craftiness, and said to them, “Why do you test Me? Show Me a denarius. Whose image and inscription does it have?”
They answered and said, “Caesar’s.”
And He said to them, “Render therefore to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.”
But they could not catch Him in His words in the presence of the people. And they marveled at His answer and kept silent.
