Light it up! This was the view last night in the wood stove firebox. Inviting, isn’t it?

Work today was busy at the clinic despite a cancellation and a couple of holes in the schedule. Both Yana and I were kept pretty much hopping most of the day. I was glad to see the end of the day looming. 😅

Tomorrow, no doc and possibly a ‘me, myself and I’ day. I’m unsure if my other coworker is coming. If she comes, she’ll get to run the front and field I’m hoping 70%+ of the work up there tomorrow. If she doesn’t show, then I’ll pray for few phone calls and few walk-ins. It’s project day for me and I’ve got some ‘fires’ I need to work on.

I’ve got some Hoof Fungus for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy!

Talking about fires...
I had three fires (and one major one) yesterday at work! I seldom have fires because I manage to catch them early enough. But that is one of the disadvantages of delegating work.

Hoof fungus grows on deadwood and has many uses. One in particular is that it can be used as fire starter. I've not tried that yet, but will probably soon once the rains stop.

I cannot imagine a home without one! We've had one in every house we've ever lived in and if we ever move, we are actually taking this wood stove with us! I like the fact it's on legs and has a 2 level top.
