Do Over!…….My Actifit Report Card: February 12 2025

I remember watching the movie City Slickers with Billy Crystal some years ago. One thing they talked about was a ‘do over’. That’s what I need for today.

My day was a bit crazy; within 5 minutes of opening the door, I had the first scheduled patient there, another who I sold $1075 worth of glasses to-3 pairs to be exact and the phone ringing at the same time. My coworker was late-AGAIN! This time just 26 minutes. Seems like I’m the only one who is ever on time! Why is that? 🧐

My day never did slow down and to make things almost laughable, the doc said he felt it was a slow day! For him maybe! Perhaps we should trade places, lol! 🤣

I got a lot done but there’s never enough time to go work on those ‘fires’ simmering on the back burners. It can be so disheartening. 😔

The day is done for now but tomorrow looks to be equally challenging. The credit card processing guy is supposed to call and talk about and/ or listen to how their setup might not work for our business. 🙄 There’s lots of insurance and claims to deal with. There’s just never enough of me to go around. Maybe someday I’ll get an assistant-hopefully before I retire, lol!

Cot was looking cute today as well.

Tomorrow is looking to be a bit busy for me again. My coworker won’t be in due to an appointment she said was originally for 9 AM, but in reality is at 10. She says she’s ‘hoping’ to be in by noon.
