Flowers!…….My Actifit Report Card: July 31 2024

Flowers are such a work of art! The Father certainly knew what He was doing when He crated them. Such colors!

Work was busy today. Being as it’s the last day of the month, verify insurance for tomorrow’s appointments can be tricky, especially if the insurance is Medicaid. They won’t issue authorizations for August as their eligibility is month to month. So I worked on today’s this morning and what I could of tomorrow’s. I’ll have to do tomorrow’s in the morning.

One thing I tackled was the new tower display that arrived yesterday. I’m not sure if the shipping box was damaged as my coworker who I don’t see much anymore, took the box to recycle. However, unfortunately the tower was damaged.

I emailed the frame rep who had ordered it for us to see what she wanted to do about it. She’s working on it is all I know for now. I do think we might try to use it until a new one is shipped as we have product to go on it. The doc was able to pull it out a bit, but it is still dented and cracked in two places.

Beyond that, both Donna and I were fairly swamped. I’m glad the day is done.

Tomorrow, I have one frame rep who’s coming before 9 AM (his wording-not mine). He’s scheduled at 9:AM when we’re not even open! 🙄 Later in the morning is a lens rep from a lab and the beginning week coworker scheduled a first timer in the midst of this-never mind she’s not supposed to schedule them anyway, lol! Donna is going to take the first timer while I deal with the two reps. We will both unfortunately be behind for the day at that point, plus a fully booked afternoon. Job security! 😏

I do like my job, but I don’t like things scheduled (like the first timer) because of other conflicts. It’s like having someone dump something on you and walk away without having to deal with it. 😔

But…….tomorrow is also Friday Eve! So with that in mind as the day progresses, we draw closer to the weekend! Yippee!
