Monday, Monday…..On A Wednesday!……My Actifit Report Card: June 5 2024
It looks prickly and it is! A baby thistle plant in its infancy. By the time it reaches maturity, if it avoids the lawnmower and/or weed whacker, then some of those prickles might look more like nails, lol! 🤣
Another of my Mondays on a Wednesday under my belt! It wasn’t a super busy day but I was busy. I had a patient mid afternoon with insurance that turned out it had changed on June 1st unbeknownst to her. She said, no problem-she’d just pay with her benefits credit card.
After she’d had her exam, she put a call into her benefits coordinator and left a message. While I was working on her FIVE PAIRS OF GLASSES, she got a call with the insurance information. I went back to my desk to call. After finally getting a representative, the internet and phone system went down! 🙀 Using my cell, I called back; then their automated system hung up on me! Seriously?! I called back one more time and finally got through the call. 😅
Long and short of it, she did order 5 sets of glasses, two covered by insurance and the rest by the benefits credit card. Just shy of $2000! My largest sale for one patient, ever! Nice! 😎👍
I had been questioning why the slump in appointment bookings. The doc also freelances as an independent doctor at another business and apparently right now, it’s industry wide. I’m glad to know it’s not just our office!
I’ve got some eye candy for you. This little guy was hiding out in the garden shed.
Little did I know that a slug was chowing down on the poor unsuspecting ‘shroom!
We are Not alone! This hoof print is proof of that!
That’s gonna be it for me. Take care and enjoy your evening wherever you are! 🙏🙏🇮🇱🇺🇦

Prickly.
A why garden gloves are important for my worn down hands. Putting a glove my left hand is fine, putting a glove on my right hand is much slower.
Does gardening help your movement? Getting stuck by one of those prickly things would not be much fun for sure! Thank you for stopping by!
Handling tiny seeds are a problem, tying up a pole bean or sweet pea will take longer but I don't mind as long as its not brain surgery, sutures, cutting tiny pills where fine motor skills are important.
