Randomness……..My Actifit Report Card: May 28 2024
Today was another day of rain until around 6 PM. Then, the sun shone with all of its brilliance! The temperatures are cool-barely making it to 60 degrees. Yes folks, it looks like it’s shaping up to be another June-uary here in the PNW! The way I look at it, in anywhere from 1-4 weeks, summer will arrive way too hot way too fast. Nope-there’s no easing into this at all!
My morning began with ladies Bible study which was good fellowship and informative. Iron sharpens iron, as they say!
The rain continued but I had 6 pounds of coffee to roast and ship to the east coast. That was my afternoon. Then, when going online to create the shipping label, the USPS website was having issues. 🙄
Long and short of it was a trip to town and pay for postage there. Ouch! They don’t give you the online discount in house unfortunately. 😏
That was pretty much the day. I did pace indoors some but didn’t achieve the step count I wanted. 😔

I used to think one will enjoy discount in house than online, but those guys must have their reasons, right?
I've watched over the years, the cost of shipping go up and up. I know that fuel costs are up, but it's an average twice per year that they raise the rates. It seems a bit unfair to me; once annually maybe. Let's face it though; you can't win with this sort of thing. You just pay the price and go forward.
