Oooooh…..Ahhhhhh!……My Actifit Report Card: May 11 2024
Last night was awesome! More on that in a bit.
Today, we set out for Boulevard Park at Bellingham Bay. Day one of my Mother’s Day weekend! It was a stunningly beautiful sunny summer like day! We didn’t expect to actually find a parking spot there, but luck was on our side! The first thing I spotted though before I even got the car parked was the pet pig someone was unloading from their car! See @silvertop’s post for pig pics!
There were a lot of people about and the absolute lowest tide we’ve ever seen!
This was a rock with multiple purple starfishes attached to it!
Of course, the train came by while we were there.
I took @actifit-lamb as it’s been a couple of years since she’s been to the sea.
Pepe had tagged along with @silvertop so I took a picture of both of them enjoying the view.
They enjoyed the afternoon!
Now……back to last night! I’ve never seen the Aurora Borealis before. I really never thought I would either. However, last night surpassed anything I might have imagined it could look like! I will let the pictures speak for themselves!
I took 45 pictures last night! A lot were taken from our yard. However, I wanted to also go to the flat part of South pass Road looking back towards the mountains. It was so worth the short drive, the time spent and staying up way past my bedtime, for! I can’t wait to see tonight’s display! I will have my camera ready!! 😁

I was hoping you were going to have photos! The sky last night was crazy. Tonight… not so much. 😄 I even had a view from my street.
Very cool! I was especially happy that I could see it even though we have so many trees! It got even better when we got out away into the valley! I do like the ones with the trees framing them though. Thanks for stopping by!🤗💜

@actifit-lamb has been around for 3-4 years, but she hasn't posted in eons. Could be her mom is super busy right now, lol! Anyway, Pepe the frog is referencing pepetoken, and that is my hubby's baby, so to speak.
The very first picture is using a photo sphere, which is crystal; you hold it up and shoot the picture. It inverts what you are looking at and can make some pictures very interesting and beautiful. You are looking at the beach at Bellingham Bay.
