Natural Beauty……….My Actifit Report Card: May 4 2024
There is natural beauty that surrounds us everyday, but if you’re like most, we are often so busy with life, that we don’t see what’s right in front of us!
We don’t stop much and smell the roses. I’m hoping to help you maybe do just that, if only for a little while.
Ever see a snail in the wild and really take a look at it? The details of the shell-how many spirals, the texture, the color? If Mr. Snail is going somewhere, where? How long is it going to take? Then there’s the texture of the soft part of the snail. The texture, the color. If he’s not headed anywhere and you can’t actually see him, then his shell! It’s all quite amazing! Check out this pretty boy!

The newness and wonder of a newly born goat.
Just born on late Wednesday night. Our neighbor had two girls both pregnant and one gave birth on Tuesday to a boy and a girl and the other on had 2 boys and a girl. They had their annual May Day neighborhood tea today. We stopped by on the way up the hill.
More natural beauty coming your way! The new growth on the Alberta Spruce.
It’s in the details of what we miss in the daily busyness we call life.
We hiked up Westergreen’s way hoping to find the elusive Morel mushrooms. It was not to be, but look however, at all the beauty we did take in for the day!
Next time you’re out and about, stop and take a look around! There’s natural beauty everywhere. We just need to look and see! 👀

Hello, Sis! I'm so happy to see your beautiful pictures! I apologize for not looking on your blog for so long. The selling of my nephew's house and all the problems with it are wearing me out. He is not going to get that much for the house and will lose his benefits if he doesn't put the money into another home. It is insane because his benefits are not enough for him to pay for hardly anything. It is just such a headache and worry and for me and I won't even say but I have just about nothing. I'm waiting for a friend to get here. I am really scared though. It is frightening and draining because my brother and sister-in-law disowned me for being poor and it's my fault. My brother and his wife are extremely judgmental. Thank God I have a friend that is working on coming over here. I don't mean to complain, Sis! I am grateful for what I do have now. A roof over my head, my nephew letting me stay, and my friend. I am tired though. I will perk up when the sun comes out again! 🌞🌞🌞
I just love your pictures so much @elizabethbit 💕💕 The snails are adorable! The mountains are spectacular! Your pictures are gorgeous with a really good zoom! My zoom isn't the best. Is this a trail with a name that you went on or the woods where you live? It is spectacular and love your flower too! I am not able to get the plant app because it costs money. I need to wait until I get some funds.
I have been mentally exhausted but will be OK. It's just been very difficult these past months.

Hey Barb! I'm sorry things are troublesome right now, but this too shall pass! As for your brother and sister in law; it is written-judge not lest you be judged. We all have good times and bad times in life and finances are not easy. Especially now with inflation out of control. Stay the course; chin up; things will improve. Just live the best you can and if you think a decision you are making might not be the right one; seek counsel for sometimes another set of 'eyes' helps us to see clearly.
I pray your nephew finds the home he can afford before they pull the benefits. It doesn't seem fair for them to be in jeopardy just because he's selling his house. Housing is expensive; has he considered a condo instead of a stand alone house? Is there any help he can get to help him afford more? I might would seek a real estate person who is willing to work and find what he needs. If we were closer, I have a gal who I know who would find what he needs.
Take care my sis and try to breathe a little. It's not good to stress. I know as I've been the queen of stress over the past half year!

Thank you, @elizabethbit for you support. I'm sorry I complained. I didn't want to stir things up but the feeling can be so terrible. It's just an awful feeling right now being stuck like this and feeling unwanted is painful. There is no help to help my nephew more than he has. It's because the laws haven't changed to keep up with inflation since the 1980s that cause so much havoc in peoples lives. That's why there are so many homeless people out there living in the streets. There isn't enough housing. I was on a waiting list for a while that had a 12 year wait. The skyrocketing prices with income limits stuck in the 80s causes this, plus not improving programs like this makes it difficult to near impossible. If my nephew can find something cheap like under 10000 to buy it will work and he can keep his benefits. Unfortunately families believe in throwing away lives. I wouldn't be able to sleep at night if I did that. If my nephew rents they will take his benefits away. These rules were made back in the 70s and 80s and have not changed and got worse in my opinion. They don't have benefits anymore that are fair at all and they have cut many of them. This is why I am so angry at my brother and sister-in-law, and my other sister cut me off for asking for help. My friend is coming. Right now it just feels like never ending and I have to change my frame of mind. Thank you for caring and I will keep my chin up! I love your pictures! I will keep you both in my prayers. I hope he can find what he needs; it might not be easy. Is there any group locally that could help? What about the Lyon's Club? There used to be an organization in Bothel call The Odd Fellows, that might could also help if they're still around. Are there any local churches that might be a source?

Thank you so much Sis! I appreciate your prayers very much, and I am sure things will turn out well. It's just really scary right now. Yes there are local groups and he has people to help him. He has a trailer we will clean up. The people are very nice around here and a lady helped him sell the house and took payment later just this week after it closed. I suggested he take the help for people at his group for SSI. I am sure my friend will get here in time. We have until June 6th to be out of hear. If we have to we can park the trailer somewhere until help arrives. He did that with his mom 4 years ago or is it 5 now. 2019 summer of 2019.
