My Actifit Report Card: April 27 2024

Happy Caturday everybody! 😽

Cot had the right catitude as it has done nothing but pour rain all day long! It even woke me up hitting the skylight hard sometime in the wee hours of the morning!

With the rain being such as it was, that left no recourse but to go shopping. @silvertop actually suggested it. With shopping bags in tow, we headed to Bellingham. First stop was Walmart. They are remodeling the store and honestly, it doesn’t make much sense right now. When I used to work there, I went through 2 different remodels and it was moderately painful. There’s no logic to how things are laid out. Shopping leaves you hunting for the items you need which is frustrating which then makes you want to just check out with what you have even if you didn’t find it all. On the other hand, it’s tough for the store associates too as often what was in one place when they left yesterday is no longer there when they go back to work the next. 🙄

Then it was off to Costco. Boy, was that place packed! There was barely a parking space to be found! However it was a fantastic day for samples! One on every corner! You can always tell the most popular one by the number of ‘vultures’ standing in line BEFORE the sample is ready! It’s kind of amusing to watch. See @silvertop’s post for sample pics.

Then of course, a stop at our favorite coffee watering hole in Lynden-Starbucks!

Still raining at this point and the day is headed into the evening stretch.

So, the rain is to continue for another 36 hours or so. Honey, do you think we might should have purchased one of those kayaks at Walmart?
