Oh Boy, Kitty!…….My Actifit Report Card: March 25 2024

I had a wonderful sleep last night. I never woke up once, which is unusual for me. Once up and ready for the day, we needed to run to Lynden to grab a couple of boards for a project at the local Do-It center. We got those home and then headed to Bellingham as there was a time frame to spend a benefit from @silvertop’s health insurance, so Walmart was the destination. While there I also picked up the things on Alexa’s shopping list that were at that store. I always look at the cat aisle and found a suitable mousy toy for the kitties, knowing full well Cot would take it over first. He’s just that way. This particular mouse had beautiful purple feathers (my favorite color) so I had to get it for him. 😸

He does love his toys! We have a toy box for the boys and they are known to go pick out what they want to play with. We often wake up to find a toy that was in the box, over by the patio door. They’ll pull them out at night.

It was a cloudy and rainy day. When we got back after a run through the Lynden Starbucks, @silvertop headed up for a rainy hike. I however opted to slash some air with my VR headset for about an hour. I worked up quite a sweat. I tend to use my arms in a full swing when slicing the boxes being hurled my way. As a matter of fact, it’s extremely dangerous to get anywhere near me when I do this as it’s like being punched. Just ask @silvertop; he’s learned to stay away lol! 🤣🤣

My coworker went to work today for the first time since her accident several weeks ago. I checked on her halfway through the day and she seemed to be doing okay. Tomorrow, she said it was possible that Yana was going to work for her, but unless they had a conversation over the weekend (Yana is her daughter in law) then she could be mistaken. I don’t want her to overdo. I’m hoping that if she decides to not work tomorrow, that Yana is indeed going to work for her. It would be nice to have a four day weekend again and also not to miss ladies Bible study.
