Sunshine on my shoulders……….

…….makes me happy! 😁🌞 For those who remember the old John Denver song!

Yes, sunshine indeed can make you very happy especially when it’s scarce as it has been lately.

I ended up missing ladies Bible study unfortunately, to get a handle on the remaining work I brought home from the clinic. I did finish and am working on a plan of attack for the next 3 days at work. I’m interrupted over and over again. Sometimes, it’s just conversations and other times (most of the times) it’s from patients coming out of the exam room or someone walking in that my coworkers cannot help. I’ve got to figure out how to avoid so many interruptions to be better able to focus on the specific order at hand. I am going to try to keep conversations to a minimum if I can and see what results that brings. I’ve got several thoughts about this, but also in training a new employee, how minimal can it really be? A conundrum for sure! 😏

Most of my day was spent in my computer loft, but @silvertop needed more stuff from the Home Depot, so we opted to go shopping. I think I needed out of the house and away from work for a while! After we got his stuff, we headed to Lynden to the Dollar Tree. Check out @silvertop’s post for the condition of the store. It was amazing!🤩

Then of course, since I’m working all this extra time, we went to Starbucks to grab a coffee. I figure it’s a deserved treat! 😎 Then we came home.

So back to the sunshine. Sunday, we went to the Marine Park down Fairhaven way. It was beautifully sunny out and a perfect day to just wander and take pics. We were lucky enough to have a train pass. I was about 10’ or less from the track. This first picture; if you can blow it up, you can actually see the engineer with his sunglasses on.

These folks were enjoying a good sail!

It was a beautiful day! I can’t wait to go walk the beach some more. There’s always something interesting like this.

It looks like a little shell inside the bigger one.

Wish me luck for my workweek. I’m going to need it! 🙃
