Happy Caturday! 😸……..My Actifit Report Card: January 13 2024

Happy Caturday! 😸😽 Cot and Cyle were enjoying a lazy day by the wood stove. The Nor’easter is still blowing a bit but not as strong as the past two days. The temperature warmed up to a balmy 20 degrees Fahrenheit at the peak of the day. It’s to go back to single digits again tonight, but then we start a warming trend that will have us back to the low 40’s and rain again. The really nice thing about the past two days-albeit cold, it was sunny!🌞 It’s been a while since we’ve had truly sunny weather!

@silvertop wanted to go shopping-yes folks truly he did! I’d completely forgotten and figured I’d spend the day organizing my workspace and whatnot. By noon, we headed to Bellingham. An Amazon return was first on the docket and then Home Depot. They’ve got a ton of houseplants in but I was reluctant to get one as it was too cold to take it home plus needed someplace safe from the kitties which right now, I just don’t have. So I left all the beautiful plants there. 😔

Then we headed to Walmart as I’m looking for a specific hair care product which they seem to be out of! 🙄 I figured if we were there, I’d pick up whatever items were on the list. Then it was off to Lynden to get some cheap trowels at the dollar tree and Safeway for some bubbly water. Of course, no shopping trip is complete without a coffee date, so I cashed in some of my Starbucks stars and got one of our coffees free. Free is good! ☺️

When we were at Walmart, I saw this on a Valentine’s Day end-cap . It made me think of Phoenix.

It was actually reasonably priced for a stuffed animal of that size!

Outside of Starbucks, the sky was simply beautiful with clouds looking like they originated from the sun and splayed out like feathers. They actually looked somewhat like feathers!🪶

Once home and unpacked and put away, I started some chili for dinner and @silvertop rekindled the stove. Now it’s nice and toasty! 😁
