Knowing at the end of today-it’s the weekend! Yes folks, it’s Friday again 🎊🎈🥳 and it’s a welcome sight!
Work was busy as usual, but the frenzied, overwhelming feeling was not with me today. I did go in extra early to get ahead with some of that extra work. That helped a lot. 😎
So now the weekend is here. We’ve got practice tomorrow for Sunday’s worship service and then the service itself. I’ve got to make the most of the VR headset my boss has leant me as he’s got tons of games on there. I’m looking for the physical ones for exercise purposes. I have ordered the same unit and it’s expected to arrive Sunday. Then I won’t have to worry about not having his. I return it next week. 😎👍
We had a visitor this morning!
He was all over this chair delegated for outdoor work.
He was a rambunctious 6 year old. He was released safely into the English Ivy.
This evening, I made an Irish cream mocha with a dab of turmeric in it. It adds a very good and interesting flavor to the drink. The whip cream and chocolate syrup I put on top of that kind of looks like a butterfly.

About the snail, so is it one year for each spiral? I never thought about it this way and I had no idea they can live this long, cool little fella.
I researched it because I was curious. I have found 7 year olds and I'm thinking a while ago, maybe an 8 year old. They are quite interesting. Their shells are comprised of calcium minerals they absorb while trekking over rocks and such. That's a lot of hard work!😎👍
Thanks my friend for looking after the little creature. Although not everyone may be their biggest fans, I find snails adorable and try to carefully rescue/relocate them - as and where required. They remind me of cartoon characters haha. So cute!
I have a soft spot for creatures of all varieties as well, and hate to see anything get killed. The snails work too hard on their shells to die!

I have never seen this kind of snail
I mean the shell is circular
That's the only kind I've seen here. I've seen itty bitty tiny ones back in Ohio with more of a corkscrew type shell. I've never seen in person, the bigger corkscrew type though. I find them fascinating! Their shell is made up of the calcium they pick up from traveling over rocks and things; each ring represents a year of the snail's life.

Usually, snails are more prevalent in the spring. It's been so dry this year that I've barely seen any until this one. I'm sure he came out because of the little bit of rain we had a few days ago.
Yes, I ordered my own VR headset, so I will have it whenever I want to play. I'm looking at it from an exercise viewpoint and since so far the games I've been interested in and are good workouts are music oriented, so it's a bit like sword fighting and dancing all rolled together! It is tons of fun!
Tomorrow, I get to also do what I love; sing and lead the congregation in singing praises to the King!
