Blue Skies And Harvest Time........My Actifit Report Card: September 5 2023

Blue skies and harvest time!

Today was the epitome of a perfect fall day. Blue skies with whispy and fluffy clouds alike and temperatures below 70 degrees. There was less humidity as well making it a lovely day!

I spent my morning in the dentist’s chair as they prepped me for a crown on the back molar that had the root canal in July. It was a bit of a long process combined with some repair work that needed doing as the temporary filling apparently didn’t hold up well. Anyway, I’ve got a temporary crown, a sore tongue and jawbone. Somehow or other my ear is involved in this as well. 😔 Another two weeks and I’ll have the permanent crown. Then maybe I can relax a bit.

As I was doing that, @silvertop was receiving 2+ cords of firewood. See his post for pics and details.

Once home, we soon set out for an Amazon return that requires a drive to Bellingham to the UPS store to drop off. Since we were in the neighborhood, we went back to Costco for a couple of boxes of the deep dish pizza we found there last trip. While there the first photo and this next one were taken.

Inside Costco, just over a week after our previous trip, found much more Christmas! I could hardly believe the displays of decorated and lit trees, outdoor illuminated reindeer and various other things! What caught my eye was the almost life sized nutcrackers!

Last but not least-@drlobes-this one’s for you! This is one set of harvest of the tomatoes. This is the third such basket! They are very tasty and fresh! 😁

That’s gonna be it for today. Tomorrow brings my Monday and I got a text earlier letting me know we had a ‘before hours’ patient. That means we are probably overbooked. 😔
