Standing Straight And Tall.......My Actifit Report Card: August 11 2023

Standing straight and tall! This might could be considered an old growth cedar. We actually have quite a few of them scattered around. We have several on our property as most of the folks on our roads do. The cedars and the firs stand tall-almost as far as you can see. There’s nothing like being in a grove of them and just taking it all in. How majestic; how old; how amazing they truly are!

Work today was a bit on the amazing side as well. I actually have nothing left from the day carrying over to my next workday on Wednesday, AND, I got all but one insurance verified for next Wednesday as well! That is truly a first! I was able to also work on the beginning stages of a partnership with Essilor that will provide free exams and glasses for children who are at or below the poverty level. We are ‘adopting’ our local school district first and then depending, may also opt for a second school district in the future. It’s an awesome thing to help a child really see for the first time!

When I got home from work, Phoenix held me down on the couch while slathering me with doggie kisses! She’s just beside herself when I come home, lol! @silvertop can only shake his head and watch from a safe distance. 😁🐶

That’s gonna be it for now. I’m looking forward to the next off days, although they are calling for a bit of a heatwave which will be difficult to endure. I don’t do so well with heat anymore. Thank goodness for air conditioning!😁. Take care and enjoy the weekend!
