A Beautiful Day!........My Actifit Report Card: July 1 2023
A beautiful summer day! 🤩 Happy Caturday as well! 😸
I slept in a little this morning to try to recharge myself from my workweek and from having been sick. I awoke to blue skies and sunshine!
We decided on an earlier than usual hike. Jan came with. We headed up to the off grid cabin and planned the descent via the Floor Trail. On the way up, the Service Berries were beginning to ripen!
They are so tasty and refreshing! There’s a ton of them out there but just a few early ripe ones. Neither Jan nor myself can resist so we took advantage of the ones we found begging to be picked! Yum!
There was plenty of Ocean Spray blooming everywhere in the forest!
Stinging nettle is not one of my favorite plants as it grows like a noxious weed here. There are two varieties. This one with surprisingly pretty little pink flowers.
And, this variety-I wonder if this pretty little butterfly feels the sting?
Of course, no Caturday post would be complete without my two favorite kitties, Cot & Cyle!
