This Post Has No Title........My Actifit Report Card: April 16 2023

This post has no title! For you music buffs, you may remember an Elton John song with the ironic title, ‘This Song Has No Title’. If it was good enough for him for a title, I would think it should work for me as well, lol!

This morning found us headed to church. It was our turn to lead worship. Abby came to run sound and everything was good-until it wasn’t! My in ear monitor would screech static at me which in turn would make me think I was having an issue vocally, which in turn would make me hesitate. It’s a vicious cycle! @silvertop went to adjust the squelch and again, it was better until it was worse! I yanked them out and went back to the floor monitors. I guess while we were practicing the next song, he thought about moving the antenna and I gave it another go. That seemed to work, but I wasn’t willing to turn off the floor monitors as we usually do, just in case I had to yank out the in ears. The wall between the sound system equipment and the stage is an old 1900’s exterior wall. We have had some issues with wireless devices. For now, we are going to see if re-directing the antenna works. We may eventually buy an antenna extension made for this set up. Who would have though a wall would cause so many issues?! Abby however, did a splendid job of running sound. She couldn’t have done anything to help the in ears issue. We are very appreciative of her!

After church, we headed home to make coffee and have a bite of lunch. It was raining again, so @silvertop suggested we head to Costco and Cash-N-Carry, as there were things I needed only available at those two places.

Costco was super busy and crowded. Cash-N-Carry wasn’t quite so much. We got the things we needed and then stopped for another coffee from the local Starbucks. I guess we are coffee lushes! ☕️☕️☕️

Here’s some eye candy from yesterday’s hike.

This is a variegated holly tree that we planted some years ago. It does enjoy the climate here! We also have green holly trees-as a matter of fact, we have what I call the holly tree nursery back out in the northern half of our land. It’s a bigger holly tree with lots of little babies growing all around it. Very nice!

Oh-the other day, I got this email from Fitbit, stating I’d walked enough lifetime miles to have walked through center of the earth. See my screenshot below.

I’m bushed; it’s been a long and a bit stressful day. That’s gonna be it for now. Take care and have a blessed week ahead. Please continue to pray for 🇺🇦
