We woke up this morning with same wind warning in place, but also with temps in the 20’s! Add the two together and it’s just plain COLD!
I set out for work hoping the nor’easter wouldn’t blow me off the road and anxiously waiting for the car to produce some actual heat!
Work was busy as usual, but we did have a cancellation in the afternoon which took a bit of the pressure off. I was glad when the day was done!
I needed to stop by the grocery to get milk and dreaded leaving my car to walk from it to the store. 💨💨💨❄️🥶 that’s how I felt by the time I got to the store’s entrance! Once home, @silvertop had a lovely fire going in the wood stove. 😎👍
Here’s some needle I’ve pics for your enjoyment.
Needle ice is formed when the ground temperature is above 32 degrees Fahrenheit and the air temperature is below 32 degrees Fahrenheit. Ground water pushes up in capillary style and freezes forming the needle ice. More ground water, more needle ice. It’s very interesting to observe.
Cot and Cyle love a good fire as you’ll see in these next photographs. I caught two different poses with Cyle and couldn’t decide which to use, so you get both! 😻😻😻

That’s gonna be it for now. Tomorrow’s ‘another me, myself and I’ day. I do have however, 2 frame reps coming.

The past few nights, it wasn't cold. But last night, I need two layers of blanket.
We've been having lows in the 20's Fahrenheit! It's been colder as well, but I need a little spring!
Today isn't that cold here. I think we're at the edge of cold season.
We are unfortunately, smack dab in the middle of it, it seems!
Is it still very cold right there?
It's very cold at night, but the past 2 days, it's been warming up nicely. 50 degrees Fahrenheit isn't overly warm, but it beats freezing!
I'd love 50°F in our place because it's getting so hot.
50 is great when it's so hot; I know by the time fall gets here, we will be wishing for the same, especially if the temps go above 100 again this year.
