Kitties Are Awesome!😻.....My Actifit Report Card: January 24 2023
Kitties are awesome!
Welcome to my post! As you can see from this first photo, Cyle was enjoying a nice fire in the wood stove. Here, he’s totally oblivious to the world.
I went to ladies Bible study this morning and enjoyed the study. One of the ladies is a fairly new Christian and struggles with whether or not she will go to heaven. We studied Exodus chapter 12 on the Passover. Within this, we could help her to understand how much God loves each of us. It was a good study.
Once home, @silvertop needed more parts for the transfer switch. So, off we went to Hardware Sales to get the parts. Afterwards, we stopped by Harbor Freight and got a strap to keep the cover on the generator and then to Safeway which was nearby. I needed some sausage for ‘breakfast for dinner’ and was on the hunt for some mizythra cheese. When I fix spaghetti, I will brown butter and then sprinkle grated mizythra cheese on it, just like you can get at the Old Spaghetti Factory, only much cheaper!😁😁😁 Yum!
When we got home @silvertop went to score his step count, but being as I have work tomorrow, I opted to do some house chores.
Here’s more ‘shroom eye candy.
You may remember that our son Bill and his wife Agi went to Hungary 🇭🇺 in November. They mailed us a postcard on the 18th of November, and it finally arrived today! Wow, what a long time to travel! The postcard must have gone via a steam liner!
The front and the back…..
I’m happy to have received it finally!
Tomorrow continues my workweek. It will be busy I’m sure.
That’s gonna be it for now. Take care and enjoy! Please continue to pray for 🇺🇦
👣🐑☕️🇭🇺🤗😽😻😁🥱😴

Hello Cyle, you looked like one of the stray cats here.
He was a rescue, but he is stray no more! I've had him all of his life except the first 3 months. His mom had him up on our roof. Then when the litter was old enough to play, she brought them to ground level where they used to play outside the patio door. Then one day, she took them and left, but a couple of weeks, returned and left only him at our house. He was so sick, I thought he would die, but he didn't! Now he's a big boy who will be 11 years old in April!
11 years old! So amazing! Here cats are multiplying. Too bad I can't adopt them. Allergies and asthma will be triggered.
The oldest living kitty I ever had was 19.5 years old. The second oldest was 18years. I cannot see myself without a kitty as I've had them for over 40 years.
Sorry about the allergies......
I never thought cats can be that old? There used to be strays here, and they're never gone. Someone dies, and new ones are born.
My kitties are indoor only kitties. Where we live, either someone will hit them with a car; someone shoots them; an eagle may carry them off or they become a snack for the local wildlife. It's much safer in the house!
Oh. I may not be a fan of cats (I have asthma) but whenever I see some of them dead on streets, I feel very bad.
It hurts me too. I know that sometimes a driver can't react fast enough, but I also know that some people purposely try to hit them.
Why do they even intentionally hit on them? Poor cats. They deserved to live.
I agree; I just can never figure it out.
