A Shopping We Will Go......My Actifit Report Card: December 10 2022
Hey guys and thanks 🙏 for stopping by today! 🎅🎄🎅🎄🎅
Being as it’s Saturday, I forwent sleeping in and got up and out to go Christmas shopping. 🛍️ First stop was Walmart. Since I worked for Walmart for 20 years, that entitles me to a 10% discount for life. Whereas 10% isn’t all that much, it does more than take care of sales tax and during Christmas, gets 10% off of all food which doesn’t happen in the usual discount. The store was pretty crowded, but I didn’t have any real difficulties maneuvering around.
Next stop: Costco. This store is ALWAYS crowded! I headed in anyway. I was able to locate nice, edible gifts for my coworkers. You generally can’t go wrong with edibles 😁 While there, I took the opportunity to grab a few pics.
This first one was of a very large ornament decoration. I originally took a pic of these back in early October when they were $109.00! 🙀
As you can see, they’re a little more than 50% marked down. I’m not sure I’d pay the $49.97 for them still. 😏
I saw these and they immediately made me think of Joan, they neighbor who passed away last Saturday.
She loved gnomes. She would have adored these. 🥹
Lots of big things to decorate with!
Of course, I couldn’t leave without buying a rotisserie chicken! Yummy!
Last stop: Dollar Tree. I still think they need to rename it ‘ the dollar and a quarter’ store!😏
I picked up some tinsel garland for the community trail Christmas tree so I could finally get it done! Where did I put last year’s decorations? 🤔🎄
Tomorrow should be church, but @silvertop is now under the weather. Might not be a good thing to go and spread the joy! We will reassess in the morning.

Christmas shopping? wow good to hear. I haven't done it yet, lol. 10% discount is good than nothing so enjoy using it for life. Thats a good benefits from that company too.
I do enjoy Christmas shopping! It is a nice perk; you have to be employed by them for 20 years in order to earn that benefit. I did work for them for 20 years. I am glad I'm not any longer as things have changed with the benefits. I'm not sure they offer the lifetime 10% anymore. Thanks for stopping by and commenting! Take care! !LADY
