What A Busy Day!.......My Actifit Report Card: October 29 2022

Hey everybody and thanks 🙏 for stopping by today! 🤠😁🤗

I got to sleep in a little for some much needed rest! It was lovely!

We had a lot on the docket for the day! First stop was at church. ⛪️ We are a Little side tracked on the sound system installation as it was decided that the black cables needed to be covered as the wall is white. Cable channel covers were ordered, but we need to install those because no one knows the plan for those speaker wire routes. So this all fell to us. That’s what we went to work on today and got a little ways done, but there are surface differences this has to run on so we need to get with the powers that be to let them know the situation. I think we will probably end up painting the cables white at those juncture simply because the kit is not meant for multiple levels. It’s only going to be a couple of inches in a couple of places so it should be okay.

It will look nice when it’s finished. 🤩

Then it was back home to drop off tools and whatnot and grab an old battery core needing to be recycled. Second stop: Hobby Lobby for some needed paint and to look for a particular wire brush. Got the paint-no brush. Third stop: Sierra Trading Post. @silvertop’s been needing some new socks and usually this is the place to go. Not so much this time, though. I did however, find some for me. 😎. While there, we looked for new hiking 🥾 boots for him as his have been worn out and an eyelet ripped yesterday when he was tying them. Unfortunately, this didn’t pan out either!

Onward!! Fourth stop: Sportsman’s Warehouse. They have Merrell hiking 🥾 boots. We found what was needed and purchased them. See @silvertop’s post for more details.

Fifth stop: Home Depot. Electrical parts were needed for the gateposts lights. We were able to find all but a couple of items needed.

At this point, I was ready to go home, but we still had that battery core that needed to go to Costco. So off we went to stop number six: Costco

Battery core returned and an hour and a half later we headed out from the store to load the car. Whew 😅 I am tired!

Leaving Costco, we decided to top up the gas ⛽️ tank and saw a pink kitty 🐈‍⬛ needing gas for her motorcycle. 🏍️

She must have stopped at Costco for catnip as well as gas! 😸

It’s been a long day and I’m ready for some dinner and wind down.
