My Actifit Report Card: June 11 2022

I overslept today but in fact slept for just over 8 hours. I haven’t gotten that much sleep 😴 in a while! Once I was up, I made coffees ☕️ and settled in for a little over an hour’s worth of reading. I haven’t been able to read much lately just because of how my time⏰ has been, so I purposely set the time aside for it today.
When my time was done ✅ reading 📖, I worked on the PowerPoint for service tomorrow and worked on a printable song sheet. I’ve been told the projector is working, but since they ripped out all the wiring for it, they’ve not been able to get it back up. I was told as of last night it’s working. However, being the planner that I am and not liking to lead worship without lyrics for the congregation, I’m making sure we have a contingency plan should the projector fail tomorrow. I’ll be printing song sheets later tonight just in case!
Then, it was time for our hike. Jan came with.
It was a beautiful sunny ☀️ day here with a light breeze - perfect hiking weather! We set out and we’re all on alert for Mr. Bear 🐻🙀 I asked @silvertop to carry the hedge clippers as the Upper Trail is nearly impassable because of the jungle growth of the plants. 🌱🌿 I made a good dent, but it’s going to take a few more passes with them before it’s un-encumbered.
Here’s some 👁 candy 🍭 from Soaring Eagle Trail.
@actifit-lamb came with along with Wildflower-Lamb, Wren-Lamb and Walden-Lamb. They enjoyed the hike and sat gazing at the mountains ⛰ They said they feel so small in comparison!
Before we started to head back, I spied the nice little ‘shrooms. They almost look 👀 like little huts 🛖

I have to admit, @jayna, the bear does have us all a bit spooked! I think I'd rather encounter a cougar! Soaring Eagle trail is lovely; we are very blessed to have this access 24/7. Thanks for stopping by and have a lovely rest of the weekend! !LADY

They say you're supposed to walk along the trail banging on pots and pans to scare bears away. But what's the point of going on a peaceful hike if you have to make a big racket the whole time?? Ha ha. Well, do be careful!
