Another day done-3 to go! I still have no voice today, but thus far, I’ve not hit the aspirin like I had been doing, so I guess that’s a plus, right?
I had a frame rep today stop by. She used to be my Maui Jim rep, but another frame company stole her and she left MJ. I was sad to see her leave but very happy that she will still be a frame rep for me-just with another company. 😎👍
I was able to get a cross section of frames inventoried as I want to trade out brands. I’ve been working with a frame rep through email as that particular company doesn’t have a local. Makes things a bit trickier.
Tomorrow finds me and the doc with a fully booked day and just us to do it all. He does the exams and I do the rest, lol 😂 Should be a busy day.
After tomorrow, it’s downhill for the rest of the week! I’m already looking 👀forward to the weekend, lol! 🤣

Either I got a head cold or allergies. Couple that with wood smoke and well.......
how'd you get laryngitis?
Last Tuesday, the 19th, I had a mild sore throat on the left side. It moved from there to the right side, and then did a double whammy on both sides and met in the middle. Beyond that, I had no real symptoms. Sunday, I woke up with little to no voice and it continues. I squeak when I talk and some words have no sound at all. Monday, I tested negative for Covid. I just happen to work in an area needing verbal communication, lol! It's a good thing it's not our turn to lead worship at church! It would be 'squeak along with Beth' if we did! Any suggestions for getting it back beside not talking, which I can't not do? (lots of double negatives going on, lol! Take care sis!
All I can think of is resting your throat and keep in moist to avoid further irritation, fluids, lozenges, even a !BEER , low alcohol preferred as alcohol could make it feel a bit worse, take care.
Thank you @kerrislravenhill! Resting my voice in my line of work doesn't work out too well, but you will be happy to know that today, I found my voice! A bit gravely now and again, and definitely not ready to lead worship yet, but it's coming along. I've got 3 weeks to get it ready for that.
